I've learned quite a lot since I've started to be a scout when I was 7 years old. My "home in scouting" is the scoutgroup in Baden near Vienna (Austrian Boy Scouts and Girl Guides-Association PPÖ), where I have spent the whole time from being a "Wölfling" (Cub Scout) to the Rover Scouts. From 1992 to 2000 I was leader of the "Guides/Späher" (girl guides and boy scouts between 10 and 13), since spring 2002 I have been working with young people from 16 upwards (Rover Scouts).
An important part of my life is being a trainer for scout and guide leaders in the Lower Austrian Scout Association and furthermore in some national trainings like the "Woodbadgekurs". Important topics in these seminars are teamwork, conflict management, methods for working with young people, group dynamics...
Currently I am working on national level with representatives from all regional associations on books for leaders, serving the interests of leaders in the Austrian Scout & Guide Movement...
